Sonnenschein ding today. Not only was it timely, here is quote "I want to thank you for taking the time to meet with during the 2010 On Campus Interview Program at Northwestern University School of Law." Nice.

Not as bad as a firm saying we go to "Northwestern University School of Law," is it?

Also, some of us have not been attending class....

Ahaha. Thanks for the much-needed lol. Indeed.

As for the letter:
Dear Anonymous,

(...) This decision making process was a particularly painstaking one (???) due to the number of outstanding candidates who we interviewed. Regrettably, we are unable to extend an office visit to you at this time.
I think it's clearly worse. NU is a fine school. I'm a big Stevens fan.

In retrospect: whoa. They dinged anon. That's a pretty poor move. They better post some fucking cats. And callbacks. I'd like to have a firm send me a callback taped to a cat. It could run up to me on the quad or something!

hahahaha....wtf

I'd definitely accept a firm that sends a callback on a cat though - or maybe by pigeon.

New thread: what is the proper etiquette for handling the callback cat? Should you bring the cat with you to the callback? Set it free? Keep it? Is it okay to keep more than one firm's cat? Should you send a thank-you cat?

Does Michigan/OCS give us any way to access the Vault Gold content? Or do we have to buy a subscription if we want to see this? Would love to ready some of this insights of associates into different firms.

Pretty sure you just have to log on through the law library site. You can search for vault and it will appear as an electronic resource.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
