No. They will almost certainly match in all their U.S. offices (Bos/DC/NY/Chi/SF/SV).Anonymous User wrote:Is there any way Ropes doesn't match at least NY/BOS

Ropes has a huge ego and sees its self as on par with the top NYC firms. They have their processes but at the end of the day there's no way they don't match.Anonymous User wrote:No. They will almost certainly match in all their U.S. offices (Bos/DC/NY/Chi/SF/SV).Anonymous User wrote:Is there any way Ropes doesn't match at least NY/BOS

I think people have unrealistic expectations for how fast firms should be able to match. The ones that matched right away probably had a plan in place because they've been able to afford 180 for 5 years but have been in a holding pattern, and because no matter when the market moved they were going to match. Other firms have to actually have meetings and think through numbers and discuss it instead of a quick email like IT'S GO TIME. Not that I'm not itching to see more matches, but it's still early.
