according to ATL, Locke Lord has matched in all major markets (which they generously define to include places like Stamford, CT)

yeah, its definitely irking. There are some high PPP NYC based firms (including mine) that have been eerily silent. There better be some more action this week.
Yeah what's going on with Paul Hastings and SRZ?
At those two, Hughes Hubbard, CWT, and whoever else I forget that's only in major markets and basically doing fine, I would've thought this would be maybe a 15-minute topic of discussion during a partner meeting.
they will match, but CWT is probably waiting to see how some secondary cities they are in will do, particularly Charlotte. I'm guessing acrosso the board matches eventually, but they will probably make a decision when the dust has settled.
Too lazy to check now, but is Hughes in any other market?
CWT has partner meetings later this week. With Winston going to 180k, they'll prob match in Charlotte, too. Purely a guess.

Now that we know everyone will be matching in DC, CA, and Chicago, I'm no longer bitter about CovingTTTon: power to them! you do you, bro. reek havoc! stop paying salaries at all and watch the 13th amendment come down on your ass.

Sort of wonder whether CovingTTTon is just going to hold off until right before the salaries kick in, and then quietly break the news as to avoid the shame of having to eat their own words.

Totally. They should raise NYC and SF to $200K, then drop DC to $140K. Next memo should mention that DC has free museums.

Still laughing at Gibson Dunn CruTTTcher. Never thought I'd see the day where Gibson gets its ass handed to it by a handful of lower-tier firms.

jones day to 210k!!
What is the source of these GDC rumors you speak of? Been trolling ATL and the threads for any hint, but haven't seen anything but radio silence.

Who are we still waiting for on the West Coast besides GDC? We've got Latham, MoFo, Fenwick, Gunderson, WSGR, Cooley and pretty much all of the New York satellites. Is it time to start shaming Loeb & Loeb?

There are only three tiers now: those that HAVE RAISED, those that WILL RAISE, and those that WILL DIE.

RIP Covington.
