Re: Georgetown - EIW 2015
First off, I hope EIW is going well for everyone and I apologize if this is an annoying question right now.... but when you get a callback and the interviewer leaves a voicemail with the recruiters number to call to set it up are we still expected to call the interviewer back after setting up the callback or is that weird?

Think you're supposed to just call the recruiter and are not supposed to call the interviewer back. Especially since lots of CBs come after business hours. Unless they leave their own number and specifically ask you to call them, in which case you obviously should.

Anyone have any idea how quickly, or slow, secondary markets move? Do satellite offices in secondary markets move as quickly as their HQ offices in primary markets? Specifically asking about firms in the Mid-Atlantic.

Re: Georgetown - EIW 2015
I'm a transfer, targeting the market where I have very strong ties, which is where I grew up/went to undergrad/1L and is a secondary, very regional market. Ties were a topic of discussion in each of my interviews I've had so far (11). All seemed very promising, conversational and genuine. Still, though, I have not heard from any. My numbers from 1L school are very strong and am just hoping the market I targeted is a slow moving one. I think only NY and DC have moved so far, and I didn't bother there b/c chances seemed slim. Have any other transfers?Anonymous User wrote:Any transfers having any luck?

V30. Don't want to get more specific since it doesn't sound like many CBs are out yet.

Granted you can never know if it's the firm calling, but do people usually let it go to voicemail or answer the phone?

Re: Georgetown - EIW 2015
I've kept my iPhone in "Do Not Disturb" mode for the past two days to avoid it going off during interviews, so everything is going right to voicemail. I think I'll probably keep doing that for the rest of the week just to help keep my sanity.Anonymous User wrote:Granted you can never know if it's the firm calling, but do people usually let it go to voicemail or answer the phone?
