Only to the extent that a lot of other people will have resumes on resume paper and you don't necessarily want to stand out.

I think most people I know by far used normal paper. So that by that logic you stand out more using resume paper (which I think is totally unnecessary).

I used resume paper. I figured why not do all the little things but I might be the minority on this.

FWIW one Sidley associate specially told me not to use resume paper and thought people who did so were tools. In short, I think it can cut both ways.

only solution is to print both. Resume paper for the V10 but printer paper for the common folk. Ur welcome everyone

I would heed this because they definitely know what they're talking about in terms of tool spottage.

No resume paper? Seriously? Career services made it seem like a must and were shocked my resume was on regular paper for 1L stuff.

Even gold-leaf paper won't save bad stats. If ya got the stats, even toilet paper will do.
Stop fretting about paper. Focus on interview skills to put yourself in the best light.

Anyone know if same-day signups are ever worth showing up for? I mean we already had multiple open-signup periods so nothing can possibly be left right?

Wrong. Go to same-day signups. I just opted out of OCI and released my 15 screeners with V4 - V35 firms (all NYC).

No, I'm saying buy the fucking paper, print your fucking resumes on it, go out there and get a fucking job. Do every little fucking thing you can think of to make sure that you're not screwing yourself over. Will it matter? Probably not. But who cares, just fucking do it and when you get a job laugh at how stupid it was. Like Cobretti said, why not do every little thing you possibly can to make this dumb process go your way?
