I'm not so sure. Two firms I spoke with said they wouldn't make CB decisions until next week, and I'm inclined to believe them; the other firms that volunteered CB schedules have stuck to them so far.

It depends on the firm. By way of comparison, Cooley claimed to make calls w/ in 2 days and they seem to have stuck to it, yet Covington says in all their literature that they take weeks to make CBs (they say it's so they can go through your writing sample).

I'm well within one, and for the other it just says excellent academics - whatever that means.

That's not necessarily bad. Lawyers like to talk.

Bad interview day.

1. Got told I made a typo on my grade sheet (I want to die)
2. Had a great interview with firm that does a lot of tech- then ended awkwardly when asked if I follow tech news and which tech journals I read (I don't)

Bummer... which interviewer was that?

Also had an interview with Weaver Austin Villeneuve & Sampson today too. It was my first interview of the day. Told the guy that I am mostly interested in IP litigation, not so much prosecution. He tells me they only do prosecution and the interview ended. 6 mins tops.

That sucks. But if you really didn't want to do it then I guess it's better that you won't end up there.

Also, it might not mean much, but the Latham interviewers told the UCLA/USC kids that it would be "about a week."

White & Case. They only wanted tech people. I am a humanities major and they were skeptical about my ability to fit into the office.
