Dude, posting what is on simplicity is one thing, copy-pasting what career services e-mails you (and is not on simplicity) is a whole other thing. If you have an offer you should not be receiving those e-mails anyways, and if you do not, then you are not being too smart with this process.

def not NYC for Cadwalader. Just got rejected after applying today and they said their class was full.

though my numbers suck and they may have just been nice about it.

I had a screener for PH Chi a few weeks ago. Despite how nice it would be to find a job right now, they absolutely s.u.c.k. Gladly got dinged within a week. Walking out of my screener, I was tempted to say don't call me, I'll call you. No wonder they're still scrambling to do something about their "significantly smaller" SA class. I'd rather spend my summer licking the sidewalk on Michigan Avenue.

Not disputing your point about the office but are they really that desperate? They've not contacted UChicago to my knowledge (nothing on Symplicity/nothing from Career Services.) At this stage I'm assume most people without jerbs are like me and would gladly accept $3077 a week even if I was guaranteed a no offer.

I've told the office many times that if someone contacts them they should talk to me, which they said they would. Apparently I was lied to.
