Yup I posted five minutes after my call. I got a call last night around 11:30 PM as well (but I suspect that is more unusual).

Wow thats crazy.

I'm starting to be a bit more encouraged since 4 CB's came in during the past 24 hours. Had I not overbid so much, I could have had a high number. Luckily I have a few CB's lined up outside of OCI via mass-mailings to supplement my relatively disappointing EIW haul thus far (compared to what I thought I would get)

No Ropes calls tonight? I feel like I had a really great interview (and this was my top pick firm, so I prepared extra for this one). I think its a good sign when the interview runs over by 10 minutes and the interviewer essentially ignores the next kid knocking even though he clearly heard it. Interviewer said that they have a quick turnaround and said i would be hearing soon. Cautiously optimistic about it.

Interviewer at Paul Weiss said quick turnaround as well.

Anyone Cleary LS? Still confused what happened with Skadden. I really thought it went well.

Same here. Interviewed with the woman who did the lunch presentation and thought it went great.

Your resume must be in some sort of purgatory - probably not a bad thing considering, out of 30, some of those have almost certainly sent dings to some people. Do you have CB's?

FWIW, I've had 27 interviews, and I only have one ding with 9 CB's. So for 17 of mine, I am in similar stasis.

Well, maybe "good" isn't the best word. What I meant was that purgatory is better than the land of dings.

Same, and no rejections from places that have been reported here. Feels weird. We may be in the mythical "hold" pile at lots of places.
