It does make you different in a good way.
Some perspective that I hope may help: I hung out with a friend of mine last night who graduated in 2012, failed the bar twice, and has been hustling (really, really, really hustling) for a job for 18 months out of law school with no luck. She gets results in a few weeks and, if she fails again, I don't know what she's going to do. The sad thing is that she's got some health issues that really affect her test-taking ability, especially for 3 days, but she doesn't get extra time or anything. She did well/was on LR, studied hard for the bar, but just seems unable to pass.
