Wow! thanks for sharing. I heard that the deadline to accept pre-OCI offers is 2/1. Hopefully they are planning on moving super quickly with offers as we near the end of January.
Weil's pre OCI offers expire on on 1/25 and they will not budge on extensions. Disappointing to say the least
You could consider getting OCS involved? According to OCS, offer has to be open 21 days after OCI for larger firms (even with pre-OCI offers)

Anyone still waiting to hear from DPW post CB? Wondering if this means ding or whether there’s some notion of a waitlist
also waiting, CB tues :/
I had my CB Tuesday (for NY) and the head recruiter said to expect to wait "about a week." Hopefully the turnaround is quicker though.
I also had my CB Tuesday and haven't heard yet.

Can confirm that I asked Weil for an extension on a pre-OCI offer and they granted it.

Huh maybe I’m getting bamboozled then. It feels doubly shitty since I feel like I’m effectively being punished for doing pre-OCI. (i.e. if I was doing the “normal” Weil process, I’d be able to consider their offer alongside all my others)

for csm, does anyone know if it's an automatic ding if you didn't meet with the hiring partner?
Did this scenario happen to you? Were you dinged/offered the following day?

Push back/remind them of Columbia’s policy or talk to Marta

Yeah definitely push back or talk to career services. Don't let them get away with being shitty.

Had Munger callback today. The interview was a little more substantive with some interviewers, and they use intentional behavioral questions. If someone wants more info, let me know.

When you are reporting results, do you mind also mentioning earliest open window for scheduling callback or how much time between your callback invite and actual callback meeting?

It looks like firms are extending callbacks very conservatively!

Really? If anything, it seems like firms are extending offers very quickly and looking to fill classes in a much accelerated timeline...

Not OP, but you supported their point. Quick offers probably means that most of the screening happened before callbacks, which means callbacks were offered conservatively.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
