So as an initial matter, you're not going to get the bids for firms in which their FFB is a number lower than where you placed them. You're not getting Kirkland at 3 when its FFB is 1, and you likely won't get A&P DC at 19, when its FFB is 19. You should really bid at least 2-4 spots above the firm's FFB number. For firms in your 1 through 10 slot, it might mean making some hard choices and cutting firms out of the top 10 slots in order to guarantee a screener.Anonymous User wrote:Hey all, I am submitting my bids today as a transfer student (last day to submit) and was hoping for some last-minute feedback on my bid list. ......

What's TCR for what to do if I missed getting a screener for a firm I want? Email the recruiter pre-EIP? Try to hit them up at EIP?

How many interviews is everyone sitting at? Got 21. Don't know if that's a good, bad or average amount

Sitting at 29 interviews.
If I want to drop a few interviews and let my friends have them, what is the most effective way to do that to make sure they aren't taken? It looks like the add period and drop period only overlap for about 4 hours?

What do you do for interviews that are only 5 minutes apart?
Are interviewers understanding with being a few minutes late?

Got 21 interviews. Missed a few that I wanted though. Missed Sidley at 3, Debevoise at 5, Simpson at 25, Shearman at 26. Anyone who got/missed these can you let me know where you had them?

Re: Columbia EIP 2016
23 interviews here. Anyone get Paul Hastings?
Also could anyone speak to how the add/drop process works: (1) do you have to drop an interview in order to take on a new one? (2) could you simply switch time slots without having to drop a firm?
EDIT: for clarity

Missing Boies at 1 is not a big deal. I schmoozed at the hospitality suite and went straight to callback even though I missed it.Anonymous User wrote:Missed Boies at 1, which sucks

Ended up with 22. Happy with results overall, but missed Weil at 4 and Akin at 11. Pleasantly surprised to get Kirkland at 3 though.

Yeah, I only got thirteen and I was thinking the same thing. Ideally we can pick up some more during the Add/Drop period.chasie wrote:I only got 10 interviews... Am I a goner, or?
