Re: 2015 Biglaw Boneus Thread
Where do we go to find out that we've gone to 190? Is ATL the only source?
What if ATL has known for days but just hid the information to get more views on their "Bonus Watch Day 48" pages???????????????????

Lat is optimistic: http://abovethelaw.com/2015/12/associat ... e-bonuses/ (for anyone wanting a link to confirmation)
I think he sees this as a floor, not a ceiling. Let's hope so.

Call me a cynic but Lat would "see" this as meaning whatever will continue to drive views to the garbage fire that is ATL for the annual two-week period when it's relevant.jbagelboy wrote:Lat is optimistic: http://abovethelaw.com/2015/12/associat ... e-bonuses/ (for anyone wanting a link to confirmation)

Nah. If DPW jumped, they'd have to cut the selfie-stick budget.jbagelboy wrote:I see I'm scooped by mono/others

Yeah it's hard not to feel like it was intended as a warning or something. "We're going to pay your bonuses but we wanted to make you sweat for them." Of course I don't work for Cravath so WTF do I care what their management does? Weird what this collusive industry makes you pay attention to.anonnymouse wrote:I'm fine with the amount. Probably done with the "floor" for locksteps. Still some interesting upcoming memos out there, though. Always fun to see how Quinn screws the 2099 hr associate, see what the median Kirkland multiple is, dream about the Boies/Susman/Wachtell bonuses.dixiecupdrinking wrote:Call me a cynic but Lat would "see" this as meaning whatever will continue to drive views to the garbage fire that is ATL for the annual two-week period when it's relevant.jbagelboy wrote:Lat is optimistic: http://abovethelaw.com/2015/12/associat ... e-bonuses/ (for anyone wanting a link to confirmation)

Uh, don't you remember Quinn canceled their summer program so they could MAKE IT RAIN on associates with money that will certainly not be in Peter Calamari's wallet at a Borgata baccarat table next weekend?anonnymouse wrote: Probably done with the "floor" for locksteps. So they didn't raise bonuses - obviously this means salaries are going up.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
