JW offered 16/21 (I think) in 2013. But as someone else just suggested, PH's bad numbers may be due to a policy of no-offering those who they know will be choosing a different firm. In that case, JW's numbers may be even more concerning than PH's.
I think this is correct. People who have split PH/AK or PH/BG in the past have tended to be the ones who got no-offered.
I'm not sure what JW's deal is, but 16/21 is definitely concerning.

Haynes & Boone
Strasburger
Fulbright
Porter Hedges
Just curious as to what the timeline is for when they will be extending offers after callbacks.
My understanding is Porter Hedges will not be extending offers until after their next round of callbacks this week. So, probably no movement until early next week.
edit: offers, not callbacks.
3L at UT here. Just a heads up to let you all know that for at least two consecutive summers prior to this summer, Porter Hedges has no-offered a quarter to a third of its small summer class. If you're splitting between PH and a big firm with better %s, this is acceptable risk. But if you're deciding between PH and another firm for the same half, I'd be very wary of choosing PH with those odds.
I had heard that as well. I also heard that PH no offered people who weren't really that interested in returning to PH. Do you know if the people who got no offered really wanted to be at PH or is that just PH's policy to no offer a certain amount of summers. It seems strange coming from a smaller firm with a small summer class.
This I don't know. It's possible that PH's numbers are the result of a policy of no-offering those who aren't going to accept. Like I said above, this (I think) would be an appropriate question to ask if/when you get an offer.

Has anyone with a Hunton & Williams (Dallas) CB heard anything about timing for offers/heard of any going out?

For 2Ls or 3Ls?
2L
2L in the same boat. How long ago did you interview? I was told 10-14 days, but I'm already starting to get nervous.
Especially because someone on here already has an offer apparently. That said, it seems like they're having a bunch of people in their office this week and next week, so maybe they want to see a good chunk of candidates before making their decisions with such a small SA class size.
Bumping this for info on K&E.

Confused about McKool's NALP page. It says 12 2013 2L summer associates were considered for offers, and 10 offers were given. However, the form shows that though they had 12 SA's, 7 were 2L's and 5 were 1L's. Can anyone explain this discrepancy, and/or know any info regarding typical offer rate? Not quite sure when the NALP info comes out for the 2014 SA class.

K&E Houston, right? When did you interview? I'm thinking I might have gotten dinged by now because other offices of K&E seem to have quick turnarounds.

Have any SMU (or non-UT) students heard CBs from Bracewell, Bickel & Brewer, or Strasburger?

So I get the impression that K&E Houston didn't send 2L or 3L offers this past week, and that we should expect to hear next week one way or another...?

For those with Bracewell dings (pre-CB), did they come through email or snail mail?

Not sure, dude. All I know is that I haven't heard back and I interviewed forever ago. I'm probably fucked.

Just got a ding from Fulbright after a callback by snail mail.
Does anyone know if offers are typically by phone call, snail mail, or email? Or does it just vary by firm.

It's generally phone call for the offer followed by email with a pdf of the offer letter. Then the official offer letter comes by snail mail.
But I guess some firms might do things differently.

Any idea how long the turnaround is from CB to offer for the Houston offices of V&E, BB, Latham, K&E, STB, Akin, or Paul Hastings?

FWIW a classmate of mine has offers from BB, AK, and Latham (all Houston) as of last Thursday (8/28) and all of his callbacks were the week of August 18th. I don't have any specifics beyond that.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
