yes. All were last week or week before

McKenna, Troutman, Kilpatrick
Anything from Nelson Mullins or A+B?
OP from above - didn't apply to NM, dinged from AB this week. Overall looks like Atl is starting to see a (very) little movement

I'm not the person you responded to, but a couple of my friends got flown out to CA for callbacks this week.

Are you the first anonymous?

Also, this happened to me with with other firms. A V5 dinged me and said they weren't hiring 1Ls but at the reception they asked me why I didn't apply since they were hiring 1Ls. I didn't know what to tell them.

Nothing yet. I think they were making decisions by the end of this week, but I could be wrong. They're my top choice, so I hope I hear something soon.

Hahaha. That's pretty funny. I got a letter from Fish Richardson ATL that told me they had no 1L program, yet people on here are getting interviews apparently. Don't know why they feel the need to lie, just tell me I'm rejected lol

Another favorite move of mine is rejecting your for a 1L SA one day and then inviting you to a 1L reception to learn more about the firm the next day.

Well played AK. Well played.

Nope :-( I was told they were only taking one 1L each from Harvard, Columbia, NYU, Penn, and maybe Yale, as well as one local school. Any idea on which schools have heard and how they were informed?

I'm the anon you quoted. Grade request but nothing else.My grades are good but probably not good enough for a 1L SA. Have you seen movement on any other OC firms?

How are people planning the handle CB's as 1L's?? I'm pretty nervous and I've never done anything like this before. Doing one in a home secondary market.

Having done a couple of CB's so far (and many, many interviews during undergrad), here's my main advice:

Be able to speak intelligently about anything on your resume, particularly most recent work experience
Have at least 3 intelligent questions to ask that show you've done some research (i.e. don't ask "so what kinda law stuff does your firm do?")
Make sure you've rehearsed the "Why do you want to work for our firm" answer
Exude confidence, have good body posture / eye contact, do not appear nervous (even if you are)

If you can do those things, I don't think any CB will be too over your head.

To elaborate: Paul Hastings made offers in both LA and OC

Regarding gibson OC, they're only hiring through their diversity program.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
