Realistically, the only firms I'm waiting to hear form who I think haven't gotten back to anyone about CB's are Morgan Lewis (Philly), DLA Piper, Sidley (NYC), Milbank, and Winston. Has anyone heard anything from any of these?

Morgan Lewis and Milbank both gave out CBs earlier this week.. unsure about any of the others.

Morgan Lewis NY gave CBs (unsure Philly), dla piper gave cbs, milbank gave cbs. Don't know about Winston.

For some of the firms that have given both dings and cbs I have heard nothing. Does that mean I'm on some sort of waitlist?

Approximately class rank? I'm also waiting to hear back from ~20 interviews, but out of those, I think only 7 or 8 haven't gotten back to anyone (AFAIK, anyway).
Top 10-15%. I targeted NYC lightly (some of the V10 really plus 2 Magic Circle), DC heavily, and quite a bit of Palo Alto (plus a few other markets....which means people probably know who I am now ). Right now I've got 1 NYC V10, 2 large regional V5 offices and the DC offices of 2 V25s. A lot of places I've not heard from have gotten back to people, but have also cut large numbers (but not me; I'm looking at you Davis Polk!). Of the firms I think haven't gotten back to people yet, I'm waiting on Gibson DC, Latham DC, Skadden DC, Fried Frank DC, W&C (plus some other small offices), and a number of firms in Palo Alto (Gunderson and Cooley mainly).

Skadden DC has sent out at least some CBs. I got one early yesterday. Int: AT.

Yes on Akin NYC, but I believe it has only been one interviewer. [Not mine - can't remember initials of one that called a friend.]

I have the reverse situation: DC CB with NYC still on my Skadden list.

I think all of them except Young Conaway have given some CB's. I had interviews with most of them and haven't heard anything though, so I don't think they've starting dinging people yet.
