That doesn't exist at GULC, outside of OCS counselor prior experience.

Is it fair to say that all the cb's for NYC and DC are done and that those of us still waiting will be dinged? What happened last year? Anyone?

I'd give it a couple of more days before you give up, but I wouldn't expect a flood of cb's to come in at this point. Still, some stray cb's do come in late. I had a DC firm email me unsolicited two months after EIW saying that they were still considering me and probing to see if I had landed something yet. So keep following up with firms that haven't formally dinged you.

Has anyone heard from Reed Smith (DC), Morgan Lewis (DC) or Baker Botts (DC)? I interviewed with these firms on Tuesday, but I have not heard anything and I don't believe that I have seen anything on this thread about them.

Mofo DC email ding as well.

No, I know that there are a few firms that are missing from the mix such as Baker Hostetler. I would wait a few days before throwing in the towel. If you have not heard anything positive at this point (my boat), it is not a very promising position to be in. Still, you have to remember that people are going to deny certain offers and that the distribution of offers is kind of strange (some with 12 offers and very few with 2 or 3). Hence, I don't want to pedal false optimism, but give if a full chance to play out. Worst case scenario, see you at September and Government interviews.

No word from Jones day. Those guys (the interviewing partners) were wonderful, too. One of my hopes.

I actually think there are more than just a few that haven't given CBs or rejections... Akin, Reed Smith, Morgan Lewis, Foley, Baker Hostetler, Holland and Knight for example. If anyone has heard from them please respond, but it seems like there is no reason to give up hope for DC yet.

I agree. I have not seen anything from those firms and I have been checking other DC schools' threads as well to see the progress.

I agree- still waiting for Baker Hostetler, Holland & Knight, and Williams & Connolly.

Not all hope is lost - I got a CB tonight from Wiley in DC.

I think maybe some firms just wait until their hiring committee meets to give out Cbs or Dings.
