Got anything for us bruh?

People with a Winston CB - how did it come in? Saw one earlier who got an e-mail - anyone else?
Anon with the email post, I was actually called by the associate of the pair I interviewed with. I didn't have my phone so she left a message then sent the email
Interviewer's initials?

Sigh, nevermind then.

Can you give the reason why you need to be so secretive?

Firms with small class sizes make for terrible safeties.

I think law school admissions may mess with people's ability to understand legal hiring (particularly interpretation of things like medians).

Well, if a school has 3.5/162 medians, and you have a 3.7/170, you probably feel pretty good about your chances there, and rightly so. If a firm has a 3.45 CB median and you have a 3.6, that honestly says very little about your chances at that firm.

Yup. Seems like if you don't click with your interviewer, you're toast regardless of your GPA.

I don't think that's universally true at the big firms. Applying to firms that are only taking two people, or are in secondaries where you have no ties? Now that'll sink you.

Fuck me. I hope they aren't done. I felt like my interview with them went well.

What happened to Chicago firms moving slowly? The interviews were just today! Any CBs with interviewers starting with M & I?

I dunno. I've interviewed with 6 Chi firms and only have heard from one. Granted 3 were today, but still if some places are making same day callbacks this waiting is really shaking my confidence.

Some firms do same day CBs. Others where interviewers make the calls might depend. See Jenner - apparently Thursday people got calls from their guy, and Wednesday people have crickets.

I was warned about this from some 3ls...I think we just have to roll with it a bit and hoped that these firms doing stuff early might do a few waves

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
