What has your timeline been between invitation for a callback and earliest slot available for a callback?

Re: Columbia Law WIP/EIP Jan 2021
It's varied for me. Quickest was fewer than 24 hours between callback invitation and actual callback. Longest I've seen so far was about 2 weeks.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 12:59 amWhat has your timeline been between invitation for a callback and earliest slot available for a callback?

Mine varied from a couple of days to 1.5 weeks. My first callback was yesterday.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 12:59 amWhat has your timeline been between invitation for a callback and earliest slot available for a callback?

Wow! thanks for sharing. I heard that the deadline to accept pre-OCI offers is 2/1. Hopefully they are planning on moving super quickly with offers as we near the end of January.

Is it standard for a CMS rejection email to hint to 3L OCI?

Also following. Is it common for a Paul Weiss rejection email to hint to 3L OCI? My guess is it’s a generic message?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 2:14 amIs it standard for a CMS rejection email to hint to 3L OCI?

Debevoise has sent out callbacks. Personally have not been dinged (nor callback) from S&C or ClearyAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 10:52 amHave dings from any of these firms gone out already? S&C, Cleary?

Not the original poster but also went through process and same result. CSM doesn't have set schedules so things may differ between candidates and may also change even during the day. There's a meeting with 2 associates during lunch hour but then you get a proper 1-hour break to actually eat lunch before your next session ($35 Uber eats coupon). My day in total was with 4 partners and 3 associates -- mostly 45min sessions but a couple 30min ones in the end. You will likely meet with the hiring partner at the end of the day and hopefully you will get good news. Though I have been told that sometimes they just won't give offers on the spot because they couldn't gather all the lawyers' recs that quickly so don't stress.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 9:56 pmCongrats!! May I ask if there was a lunch break during your interview, or a virtual lunch conversation with associates, or something else? Have one coming up soon but they didn't provide any logistical information and was wondering. Thank you!

Thanks for the info! Was this from previous years or this year? If this year, was this over Zoom or some other platform?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 1:32 pmNot the original poster but also went through process and same result. This year. It was on FloRecruit and you should get a roster with at least some lawyers the night before your interview. Good luck!Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 1:41 pmThanks for the info! Any other S&C offers? I’m curious how universal the one-day turnaround is

I had my CB Tuesday (for NY) and the head recruiter said to expect to wait "about a week." Hopefully the turnaround is quicker though.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 2:49 pmalso waiting, CB tues :/Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 2:48 pmAnyone still waiting to hear from DPW post CB? Weil's pre OCI offers expire on on 1/25 and they will not budge on extensions. Disappointing to say the leastAnonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 2:12 amWow! thanks for sharing.
