If you think hard, you could probably answer this question yourself.Anonymous User wrote:Should we be mass mailing if we have CBs but not many of them...
I wholeheartedly support your jerk response. The same question has been answered at least 50 times in the top 10 threads on this forum. Probabilities aren't that hard. Do I have an offer? Do I have a 100% chance of getting an offer from a CB? Do I want an offer?runinthefront wrote:If you think hard, you could probably answer this question yourself.Anonymous User wrote:Should we be mass mailing if we have CBs but not many of them...
ETA: sorry, that was a jerk response. But yeah, if you ended up with 1-2 callbacks from 20 screeners and your grades are median or better, you are almost certainly not great at interviews and in danger of striking out of your callbacks. I would mail.
Likewise, if you are wellllllllll below median and only have 1-2 callbacks after 20 interviews, you're probably in danger of striking out, too (barring a sudden change in interview skills). I would mail. Seems like a pretty simple solution to avoid a career-altering event (strikeout).
When was your callback?Anonymous User wrote:Vinson & Elkins offer

Phone, pretty much exclusively. Sometimes partners/associates will accidentally congratulate you on your offer via email before the hiring partner calls you. But that's typically an accident (and uncommon).Anonymous User wrote:Do offers come via email or phone usually?

- How about the girl who answered her phone in the conference room while sitting at a table full of her classmates?
- Or..how about the guy who didn't get a CB and stated "Oh whatever, I guess don't hire the kid at the top of his class. Fuck me right?"
- Even better...the guy who decided it was a good idea to knock 5 minutes before the official knock-time during the screener, because he wanted to give the people in the room notice.
Curious to hear if there are more.
Agreed. Why cant we all just be friends.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Can we start with an LVP award for Cornell 2016 AJF?

This is not nice either.

Can we cut it out with this garbage? We all know this happened already and know who these people are, and Myron Taylor High really doesn't need any more internet exposure.Anonymous User wrote:Can we start with an LVP award for Cornell 2016 AJF?
