Well mine for Philly also says requested but it also says "request period closed" instead of "accepted students sign up open" so maybe that is a good sign for y'all! good luck!

Earlier mine said "accepted students sign up open" but now it says "request period closed."

It is starting to get a bit ridiculous. They get 2 more days (plus the weekend) and still weren't able to select for interviews. I have no doubt that they are very busy, but so are the other PD offices and they still got it done

THIS. I get it, they hold all the power in this situation. But this is ridiculous.

Their office is really slow in that regard..a friend of mine last year applied in September and wasn't called for an initial interview until after he heard about third rounds at other offices..also I believe they only have two rounds, they are used to only recruiting from the Pennsylvania schools and those with ties but I guess now they have decided to spread their horizon

I am starting to actually dislike Philly Defenders. Like, they seriously are starting to make me angry. No update whatsoever and they've had plenty of time. They've no had four extra days and still nothing. Is this how they are with their employees, too?

I would have to agree that it is starting to come off as rude. I have heard good things about their office but this is getting absurd. The other offices are just as busy as they are and still managed to pick who they want to interview by now. Hopefully, we will hear back by the end of today.
