My thoughts as a DC person and echoed by most of my DC friends. Maybe it varies by market though...
Same here. Was told I would be extremely competitive in DC by everyone I've talked to but it's been an unmitigated disaster so far.

I have some good opportunities in my secondary market so I'm not on the ledge or anything, but it's been a very disappointing week.

The DC market is slower in general with cbs. Don't lost hope yet.

Unsure if this is true this year. I've been getting cbs/rejections within 48 hours of interview for the most part.

Do all firms send rejections?

I've been receiving some CBs within 48 hours in DC, but it's been radio silence for many others. Is this one of those situations where you might NEVER hear back?

Some firms have sent prompt rejection letters (which was surprising because I wasn't expecting it at all). Others will just snail mail you one about a month later.

For some DC yes quick answers but most don't seem to have made any decisions yet. Or if they have, we just arn't hearing about them yet
