CB from the DC office last year took 8-9 days, can't recall exactly but a long time, and other people with the same interviewer got them earlier I thinkAnonymous User wrote:Anyone know how long covington usually takes?

My interviewer (DC office) told me at the end of the interview that they take a bit longer because of calling references, so I'm thinking it'll be late this week maybe?Anonymous User wrote:CB from the DC office last year took 8-9 days, can't recall exactly but a long time, and other people with the same interviewer got them earlier I thinkAnonymous User wrote:Anyone know how long covington usually takes?

What about Williams & Connolly? Did they have a similarly long turn-around?Anonymous User wrote:CB from the DC office last year took 8-9 days, can't recall exactly but a long time, and other people with the same interviewer got them earlier I thinkAnonymous User wrote:Anyone know how long covington usually takes?

Re: Columbia EIP 2017
Williams & Connolly doesn't give very many callbacks (7 last year). There is a chance that they've already given callbacks, and none of the ~7 people are on TLS. Hopefully that's not the case, but I haven't gotten confirmation from the folks with whom I've spoken that they take as long as C&B or longer than the average firm for that matter. Hoping someone has intel to the contrary though

Re: Columbia EIP 2017
I do know they do snail mail dings, so that could explain the slow response time. But it wouldn't surprise me if they take a little longer than most given how selective they are and the small class sizes.Anonymous User wrote:Williams & Connolly doesn't give very many callbacks (7 last year). Did all firms demand employer references? OCS gave me the impression that if a firm wanted a reference they can just call the firm of your 1L summer ..Anonymous User wrote:My interviewer (DC office) told me at the end of the interview that they take a bit longer because of calling references, so I'm thinking it'll be late this week maybe?Anonymous User wrote:CB from the DC office last year took 8-9 days, can't recall exactly but a long time, and other people with the same interviewer got them earlier I thinkAnonymous User wrote:Anyone know how long covington usually takes?

Only like 2 firms asked for my references (covington and maybe w&c? Forget the second one). Most firms don't ask or call even before making offers

as for calling, though, does that mean contact info of 1L supervising associate should be on resume or that firm would just figure it out.Anonymous User wrote:Only like 2 firms asked for my references (covington and maybe w&c?
