If you interviewed for 2 different offices of the same firm, and get dinged from 1 but haven't heard from the other does that mean you are also dinged at the other office? Or will the other office eventually give you a separate notification?

If you interviewed with same people for different offices, probably dinged from both unless specified otherwise. If you interviewed with different people for each offices, assume separate review process/separate response.Anonymous User wrote:If you interviewed for 2 different offices of the same firm, and get dinged from 1 but haven't heard from the other does that mean you are also dinged at the other office? No offers yet, though Winston responds to all by tomorrow. Which firm is it that meets on Thursdays? Thanks.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone get any Chicago offers yet? Was hoping to hear back tonight because I know at least one big firm's recruiting committee meets on Thursdays

2 CBs came in today, so I'd say it's still possible. Especially if you haven't been getting dinged like crazy. Probably on hold.Anonymous User wrote:Any hope for CBs if you have not gotten any yet so far?

Dinged by White & Case NY via email.
I had a great conversation with my interviewer too (I thought). Not sure where it all went wrong for me with OCI.

Re: Michigan OCI 2016
For those of you who struck out at OCI, do the following:
1) Get on learnleo and use that tool to keep reaching out to large firms.
2) Email large firms you did not interview with at OCI. Most firms will still be in interview season, so don't expect quick positive responses.
3) Use the small and midsize firm resources. You might not snag 180k jobs this way, but there are lots of smaller firms that will be happy to have summers.
4) Start looking into in-house opportunities.
5) Start looking at clerkship as a post graduation employment plan (federal hires now, but it's still too early for most state judges).
6) Try to stay positive. Lots of people end up at large firms outside OCI. And lots of people end up being very happy never working at a law firm. There are probably some callback offers that will still trickle in, but it's best not to wait on making alternative plans.

If I take a leave of absence (say I lie about contracting a debilitating illness), can I come back and try this again next year?
