Wait, is this a group of people sitting around or do you mean based on this thread? With all that said, I know someone with a Kasowitz Benson CB and someone in here mentioned Lowenstein Sandler. Who was the interviewer for Mayer Brown though?Anonymous User wrote:can confirm cbs first hand from group of us here:

Jeez, I'm really racking up the dings here. I just got one from Katten (JF). My grades are just below stone, and I know from last year that all of the firms that have dinged me so far accepted a whole lot of people below stone (all of Katten's 10 offers were to people below stone last year). I'm not a bad interviewer, so I'm just a bit surprised. It's not over until it's over I guess.

also racking up CBs? are you just surprised about Katten? Or was that just an example? I've wondered too about these forms that seem to give all their offers to non Stone and now seem to be more selective.Anonymous User wrote:Jeez, I'm really racking up the dings here. Countervailing factor: they also have much smaller class sizes. Totally random things might be just enough to barely move you into the non-callback pool.Anonymous User wrote:also racking up CBs? are you just surprised about Katten? Or was that just an example? An okay number of CBs, but almost all were same-day things. I'm surprised by a bunch, not just Katten. 7 dings so far, 6 from firms that gave a bunch of offers almost entirely to non-stone students (as in 8+ offers, with below 20% given to stone/kent scholars).Anonymous User wrote:also racking up CBs? are you just surprised about Katten? Anyone know Katten time between screener and CB, between CB and offer and their CB:Offer ratio?Anonymous User wrote:Jeez, I'm really racking up the dings here. I just got one from Katten (JF). This. My interview sat down and said "so, what can I tell you about the firm?" I somehow kept the conversation going until the end and asked some pretty good questions, but I haven't heard back from them. And I really like that firm (I think).Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear from Proskauer Rose?

Proskauer already had a bunch of Columbia students do their callbacks. Perhaps they will do another round.

Still no CB's here. About half a dozen dings via e-mail. Not feeling very confident at the moment, but maintaining some hope because a decent number of my interviews were with firms from another market...
