Got an offer today exactly one month and one day after CB.Anonymous User wrote:So it seems like people on hold for firms won't be hearing back for a while. Does anyone know someone who received an offer a month, a month and a half, or even two months after callback?

Re: Callback, offers, dings - CA thread!
Just got an offer from a SoCal firm. CB was about three weeks ago. Firm is V50. I was top 1/4 of a top 3 CA law school.
I am extremely impressed with the people and the office itself. I was planning on working in Silicon Valley (have an offer there). However, I held off on accepting that one because I was hoping to hear from this firm. I will likely accept this firm's offer later in the week!
That wraps up my "OCI Cycle". Two offers ain't bad having only done six screener interviews in total (four CBs).
Good luck to everyone still waiting. Remember, if you don't have an offer currently, there will be plenty of offers getting freed up over the next few weeks. Think about it: Many (most?) people who get one offer, got multiple offers. They can only accept one.

Has anyone gotten any California interviews via mass mailing recently?

It's a bit difficult to get interviews via mass mailing in California because that market is so narrow, and the summer associate classes are just so small. With that said, it really doesn't hurt to try at this point.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone gotten any California interviews via mass mailing recently?

Vague question, but what times do firms generally make offer calls?
Morning / early afternoon / close to 5:00?
