Outside of ppl in the top 10% or on law review, those with decent grades targeting NYC and select secondary markets, or those with real substantive work experience (and IMO while many NU students maybe have "worked" 2+ years, few actually did anything substantive), a lot of people are going to find themselves in the dark (particularly many of those who focused so heavily on Chicago).Anonymous User wrote:whats the vibe like at NU this time of the year among rising 2Ls?

Re: Northwestern 2010 OCI Callbacks Thread
The people I know that have done the worst were those that focused on Chicago. It seems Chicago is one of, if not the toughest market this year. DC is also very tough this year, but I've been surprised how many classmates have gotten NYC callbacks. TX is where it's at this year though. It seems that everyone I know that focused on TX has done very well.Anonymous User wrote:Outside of ppl in the top 10% or on law review, those with decent grades targeting NYC and select secondary markets, or those with real substantive work experience (and IMO while many NU students maybe have "worked" 2+ years, few actually did anything substantive), a lot of people are going to find themselves in the dark (particularly many of those who focused so heavily on Chicago).Anonymous User wrote:whats the vibe like at NU this time of the year among rising 2Ls?

The TX market has only been strong though for those with Texas ties. First, a lot of the ppl who have done very well in Texas have likewise done well in other markets and have strong grades.

CB. However, I didn't interview with them on campus. I emailed them my materials, told them when I'd be in town, and requested a CB.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone heard from Proskauer LA?Anonymous User wrote:Proskauer Rose (Chicago) ding via email

Also, has anyone had any luck with symplicity resume submissions? I have had some success with "cold emailing." However, I have not heard from any of the resume drop firms.
