They're very bad at responding to things.
I've sent an email, heard back two weeks later and they had only replied to the first of a few questions. My questions were bulleted rather than hidden in a wall of text, and short. Really?

So does anyone have the list of questions that people have been talking about from last year/this year? I dug through the posts but could only find requests for it to be PM'ed.

-Why SEO?
-What do you hope to gain/learn from the SEO experience?
-What do you hope to accomplish with your JD?
-What makes you better, or more qualified than other candidates (or why should they choose you).
Also,
-Know why you'd like to live/work in your requested city.
-Research multiple firms listed for your city on the SEO site and know specific reasons why you'd like to intern/work for them.
-Think of a question or two to ask at the end of the interview when they ask, "Do you have any questions for me?"
-Also, know what the program stands for/its values.

Anyone else feel like they didn't do that well with the case study?

Are you alright discussing it in a little more detail? My interview is towards the beginning of next week and that's the one part I'm really unsure about. What kind of questions are asked and what are you expected to know?Anonymous User wrote:Anyone else feel like they didn't do that well with the case study?

yea, let's try to keep the playing field leveled. Would you give a classmate the questions to an exam that you've taken, but that he/she has yet to sit for?

They can probably also tell whether or not you rehearsed. These are professional interviewers. It would probably be pretty hard to pull the wool over their eyes.Anonymous User wrote:yea, let's try to keep the playing field leveled. I emailed regarding an unrelated question and they said that they would not begin issuing decisions until April. Hope that helps.

I'm in the same boat. I didn't put my race down, but I'm a minority. Please, SEO, I've worked really hard.Anonymous User wrote:Hey all. Are you able to edit your application? I don't know that it'd necessarily make a difference since they'd probably assume everyone applying is a minority, but it certainly can't hurt.Anonymous User wrote:I'm in the same boat. They told me the same thing during my interview, that decisions would come in throughout April and May, but I figure it'd probably stop in mid-May considering the start date?Anonymous User wrote:I emailed regarding an unrelated question and they said that they would not begin issuing decisions until April. Does anyone have information on how long until they issue second interviews? In the midst of it all, I didn't take down that information. I assume those would have to be in person in your market since they're supposed to be more involved?

Does anyone know whether everyone has two interviews? Did anyone with one interview only get accepted into previous programs?
