If an interviewer gives you a card and says to call them if you have any questions or want more info... can't be a bad sign but how good a sign is it?

Does anyone else think that callbacks are coming in slow this year, especially for non-NYC people?

Dunno about non-New York per se, but some OCS people kind of admitted it to me in general. The Columbia thread also seems to have that vibe.

As an interviewer who gave out a card after every screener, it was zero sign (at least for me).

I dunno. I mean what v-25 firms from monday and tuesday haven't had CBs on TLS. We've seen
Wachtell
Cravath
Skadden
DPW
STB
Cleary
Latham
Covington NY/DC
Debevoise
Paul Weiss
W&C
Boies

Gibson hasn't done CBs yet, and neither have ArnoldPorter, OMM, MoFo. I think, SullCrom is tomorrow as is White, and JonesDay and Wilmer are Friday. All in all, however, it seems like most major firms that have interviewed have done their CBs.

I think the majority of those were for NYC, and I'm not sure that what they've done is all of their CBs. Most of my friends have 0 or 1...seems like people had more than that this time last year.

Right, when I said slow, I meant in smaller numbers.

as in firms are giving fewer CBs or firms just haven't been doing them all at once? did OCS people say anything to suggest more the former or later?

I heard of Gibson callbacks on the spot. I am interviewing with them tomorrow, and it ratchets up the pressure a little.

Gibson DC did that. Gibson NY, as far as I know, did not do cbs or dinner invites. anyone hear otherwise?

I think he/she is saying this because the recruiting department sent out an e-mail to schedule callbacks.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
