FWIW, does anyone know if other people hear before you about an offer, and you didn't receive one, does that mean you're out of luck? Or does that mean the firm is holding off on your candidacy while it moves on other applicants?

For people who have gotten offers, how long does it take to get the official email from recruiting? Want to cancel some CBs now but I want to wait until I have something written in hand.

Has anyone done callbacks with Simpson Thacher (NY)? Did you also get the "it will take 3~5 days" email from recruiting? I wasn't sure if this was normal or a bad sign.

I have and also received the e-mail. I think it's normal, although they called me with an offer within 1 business day.
