I thought I decimated my Weil interview. Straight up told them they were my first choice too. Thought it was my best interview --> ding. Oh well. But I got a CB from what I thought was my worst interview, so who the hell really knows.Anonymous User wrote:For other people who haven't gotten CBs, how did you feel about your interviews?

Same. Disappointing too because I thought that interview went great and the interviewers made comments that made me feel like I'd get a CB. Oh well, what can you do.Anonymous User wrote:Official Milbank NY ding, not that I thought I was getting one after not getting invited to dinner.

Re: Georgetown OCI 2019
I've heard nada thus far, interviewed in DC, Philly, London and Cali. No rejections, no CBs, nothing. 3.9 GPA (transfer), interviews were fine but not amazing I would say, nothing awful or spectacular. I recited what OCS told me to say and the interviewers were very complimentary etc. I don't even know what to think. 12 interviews and NOTHING. Some firms I interviewed with (DB & Latham) have sent out dings and I didn't get one, could mean I'm second string I guess? It would be better than nothing

Re: Georgetown OCI 2019
If I have only one CB thus far does that mean I'm screwed in terms of getting an offer?
Is there no point in waiting on firms, even though I'm pretty sure others haven't heard back yet from these firms either?

Why would that mean you're screwed? You could very well land an offer from that callbackAnonymous User wrote:If I have only one CB thus far does that mean I'm screwed in terms of getting an offer?

if you got a callback from a firm, do they still care about your grades as a subtantial part of the criteria to assess whether to give you the eventual offer? Or they mostly look at your interview performance at callback because if you got a callback, the firm should be satisfied with your basic credentials?

me too, got a callback from an interview I think I did the worst because I accidentally interrupted the interviewer for like 5 times, which is I think, very rude...Anonymous User wrote:I thought I decimated my Weil interview. Also wondering this. Got a callback from a firm but my GPA is less than the 25% cut-off on that GPA list OCS providedAnonymous User wrote:if you got a callback from a firm, do they still care about your grades as a subtantial part of the criteria to assess whether to give you the eventual offer? At the CB stage, its generally going to be your interview performance, quality of answer, personality showcase, etc. but, of course, when push comes to shove and they have 2 candidates with similar softs, they'll look to the resume.Anonymous User wrote:if you got a callback from a firm, do they still care about your grades as a subtantial part of the criteria to assess whether to give you the eventual offer?
