What are thoughts on dipping in big law office? Obviously traditional dip would be a big no no or at least a very ballsy move. What about an alternative such as snus (for those of you who dont know, it is a wimp way to chew, but produces no spit, thus no disgusting spitter).

I do my best to hide it, and pull it out before someone comes in office... but what would reaction be if I got explicitly caught doing so?

I'm curious about the dipping question. If you are doing it in your office, and doing it discretely and cleanly, I don't see what the problem is if someone sees you spitting into an empty Starbucks cup or Mountain Dew bottle.

Obviously, you wouldn't want to do this around clients or in other important professional settings, but sitting in your office shouldn't be a big deal. I wonder if attitudes towards dipping vary more on a geographic location or possibly just firm to firm?

Fucking supplement update on foreign tax that my partner has put off doing for 15 years until he got a stub year associate to do it. I was dumb for not expensing it.
