Capitol: from your recollection are slots open throughout the week or do they get gobbled up in the first 24 hours?

I've got back-to-back interviews, would anyone be willing to trade a Shearman NY slot?

Are back-to-back interviews possible? I have a back to back with two firms I am interested in. Would love to hear your take on that.

When you guys say back-to-back, do you mean one interview literally ends as the other starts or you have a 10 minute break?

This doesn't happen through the lottery, right? Unless they changed it from last year, you can only get back to back by self-scheduling, and OCS advised strongly against it.PourMeTea wrote:One interview literally ends as the other starts.Anonymous User wrote:When you guys say back-to-back, do you mean one interview literally ends as the other starts or you have a 10 minute break?
It seems like a bad idea. You don't want to tell your first interviewer that you need to leave when she is wrapping up the screener and you don't want to have to explain to your second interviewer why you are late.

Must have changed it because I have four in a row from lottery/pre-selects.

Transfers usually equate to median at GULC with regard to EIW, right?

Re: Georgetown - EIW 2015
The V15 Senior Associate continues to harp in his thread that you'll be looked at based on your old school, not your new school, and I imagine that holds true for GULC. No idea if that's how it actually works in practice for GULC or in non-NYC markets.

Which do you think puts you in a more favorable position: Top 1-3% from T3 or T4 v. Top 15-25% from T1 or higher?Anonymous User wrote:It depends on your 1L school and class rank, I hear.

Yeah I mean, no one can really answer this for you. At this point you can't change any of this, and bids are in, so just work your ass off and hustle and hope for the best.Anonymous User wrote:Refusing to do this calculus.Which do you think puts you in a more favorable position: Top 1-3% from T3 or T4 v. Re: Georgetown - EIW 2015
Is it weird to interview with two different offices of the same firm? Will they think that's strange or see it as a red flag? Obviously this is one of the firms that allows multiple interviews.

No, as long as you have credible narratives for why you are interested in both offices.Anonymous User wrote:Is it weird to interview with two different offices of the same firm? I had callbacks with multiple offices from the same firm.

I should have clarified that I'm a transfer, but no results yet for transfers. Someone indicated previously on this thread that results for transfers come out after regular student results come out but was hoping for today but "Results are not available at this time."Londonbear wrote:I know for sure that Tax and Gender have already emailed, and I think some tlser said he/she got the main journal. Re: Georgetown - EIW 2015
I have been invited to a few "casual" receptions from firms that I am interviewing with that are taking place somewhere in DC at the end of the day after all the interviews. Can someone define casual in this context please, and the importance of attending?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
