My offer came after over a week. My sense is that's longer than the process is generally for 2Ls.Anonymous User wrote:People who have gotten DPW offers - do you happen to know if they moved more slowly than they did for 2L's. I'm presumptively out, but hope is alright too...
Anyone interviewing with Loeb & Loeb litigation?

Going to mention that Cadwalader's capital markets would more accurately be called their structured finance department.

Re: 3L OCI
Anecdotally, this is the "last big week for callbacks" for DPW. didn't get a timeline but I would expect decisions next week/the week after.
Apparently not everyone at DPW is chill and won't grill you on legal stuff during your interview so...unfortunately not expecting good news for myself. but everyone else was super nice so good luck everyone!!

I'm not seeing these on my school's Symplicity, or on the firm's career sites. Should I just mass mail on the assumption the positions exist?Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Can you specify corp/lit?Anonymous User wrote:Employers posting on my school's Symplicity that I don't think have been mentioned here yet (all NYC):

Re: 3L OCI
Ding from Patterson today.
Got an odd call from Weil...the recruiting manager called me on Thursday asking if I was still interested. I confirmed with her on Friday, and she said she'd circulate my resume to the partners. I've never heard of this happening. Any one else?
Also... is it just me, or do the rejections still sting? I thought I'd be over it by now, since I struck out twice at OCI, and I've basically set the world record for law firm rejected. But every time I get a little sad. Does this stop, ever?

I got the same call from Weil. Assumed they were calling to set up an interview. Very strange.Anonymous User wrote:Ding from Patterson today.

Almost a month out from my first callback. I swing between excited about still having a chance with the firm to depressed that it will probably result in yet another rejection.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
