Anyone done any CBs yet? Was there anything unexpected or significantly different from the screeners?

Re: Penn OCI 2015 (C/O 2017)
I had one today. One of the associates really harped on my outlier grade and how she did so much better at her school in that class. The hiring partner asked really weird questions about Penn's collegiality. Outside of that, the other interviews were pretty standard. Lunch was great.

Does anyone know how long it typically takes for an offer/rejection after the CB?

Yes. CBs are more relaxed than OCI screeners. The attorneys are on their own home turf, so they're more comfortable, and they don't have to do 8 or 10 or whatever of these in a day, so its less of an imposition on their schedules, all of which means they're probably happier to talk to you. The interviews are longer, so be sure to go in with lots of questions and have a good sense of the persons bio, but probably also more conversational, so you may not get through a ton of the questions you write down.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone done any CBs yet? So except for Covington, there's been no DC movement? The Groom interviewer said that they wouldn't be extending callbacks until next week because the hiring committee meets next Tuesday, but I assumed that the more known DC shops would've sent CBs and rejections by now.

This. Most of my interviews were DC so I'm sitting here waiting. Any movement from Sutherland, White and Case, Hughes Hubbard etc? I haven't heard from any DC shops except dings from Wilkie and Simpson Thatcher.Anonymous User wrote:So except for Covington, there's been no DC movement?
