Native Texan attending OOS T14 here--I mass-mailed some TX firms about about 10 days ago and did a couple Big 3 interviews via OCI last week. Haven't heard even a single peep...anybody ITT know if this is normal/good/bad?? Do Texas firms move really slowly, or have I been soft dinged?

Depends on which firm and which office. I know at least one of them gives offers within 24 hours.

Regularly gives offers (I assume callbacks?) in 24 hours or gave you an answer in 24 hours? If I remember correctly, you crushed 1L so that might not be the same for everyone.

I did OCI last year at SMU/UH. Vast majority of my CBs, including 2 of the Big 3, came within 24 hours of screener.

In my experience w/ 1 of the Big 3, I received a callback within 24 hours of my screening interview and an offer 48 hours after my callback. I am at CCN, but emphatically did not "crush" 1L.

Skadden is doing next-day callbacks in Austin for UT OCI. All I know is that they're 1-hour interviews. You find out if you got one following your interview.

So does Fulbright generally do callbacks within 24 hours? How about Latham and Weil (Texas offices)?

Former Fulbright SA here. In past years an invitation to this dinner is a very strong indicator you will get a callback. Last year there were some problems with people acting weird at the dinner, but most people got the callback.

What I meant to ask is have the Fulbright dinner invitations gone out this year? The previous post sounded like they had. I was under the impression that Fulbright was doing more interviews tomorrow. Would one expect the invite today or tomorrow or sometime afterwards?

If there is an LL SA here, please correct me, but a friend who was there this summer said it was about 2/3. They do this thing where a lot of CBs happen on the same day and they give a presentation about how great the firm is. I couldn't really buy into it, but very nice people.
