Oh, and that's a good haul man.Anonymous User wrote:Non LR, very average grades (barely a 3.0) and 3 years of unremarkable work experience (paralegal in a city that is not a major legal market) and have callbacks for the following. Only about half of these were interviews that I thought went spectacularly well; I'm legit surprised by at least two of them, so my completely useless advice would be to not stress out and consider yourself out of the running for a firm just because you weren't able to converse with the interviewer as if you're the oldest and dearest of friends.

I have a CB with DPW today, but they haven't sent a confirmation email, an email with the attorneys I'm interviewing with, or any information at all since I was sent the form. Do I just show up to their offices?
They didn't even send a floor or a contact person. Do you think spam collected something?

Well, you really should have called the DPW recruitment office about this yesterday, but I guess instead you should do so this morning immediately. Even if you just scheduled your callback yesterday the information you mentioned should have been sent to you by now.Anonymous User wrote:I have a CB with DPW today, but they haven't sent a confirmation email, an email with the attorneys I'm interviewing with, or any information at all since I was sent the form. dpw doesnt send your interviewer names, so dont hold your breath. just show up, everything will be ready for you.

Called dpw. Apparently they don't send confirmation emails unless person confirming remembers. Also, recruiting was super condescending and rude. They must be stressed by this insane process--esp when they callback a massive chunk of people.

Not necessarily. If you bid all big new york firms, then probably yes. If you bid mostly smaller or mid-size firms in other parts of the country, then perhaps not.Anonymous User wrote:so it is time to freak out if you don't have callbacks right?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
