I just received an email ding from K&L I have not received many rejections via email but it feels worse to me for some reason than snail mail.

To the person a while back with the Cozen offer, did that get accepted?

Sorry 'bout the K&L ding. How long I ago did you interview with them?

I still don't know how I would feel about a rejection over the phone like PC apparently does. In some ways, it's more personal than the boiler-plate letter (email or otherwise), but at the same time, I would hate to get excited thinking its an offer, only to be told the exact opposite.

Anyway, as for the Cozen person's acceptance, their summer class is so small, that I wouldn't be surprised if the person who got the offer, even if on TLS, might be sitting on it so as not to out themselves.

I do not work there and can't give away to much without outing, but Riddell is known for being super collegial and a great place to work. I think most Seattle based firms have a decent work life balance, but this does not include satellite's for national firms.

In my screener Hillis said they were not going to give CBs untill they had gone to all the schools (they only had 1 left), so it would be about 2 weeks before I heard anything (screener was about 2 weeks ago). But someone at my school (local) claimed to have gotten a CB within a few days...

Don't work there, but know people who do. The office is nice and friendly, but you will be working all the damn time. I got the vibe that the culture was a little bro-y, but nobody said that outright.

Out of curiosity, did you do UW's OCI? If so, how did your interview go? Either my interviewers were trying to see how well I could insert myself into their private conversation, or, the school made them meet with X people, and they only wanted to interview Y, and they killed time while meeting with me.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
