Anyone hear from Dorsey (Minneapolis)?

Had an interview back in January, and I was told I'd hear by the end of February

A girl in my section (U of M) got an offer from Dorsey, not sure if she accepted it or not.

God dammit, I still have not heard either way. Was the offer today or very recently?

Not sure when she actually received the offer, but I heard about it on Monday.

Rejected from Stoel, stilll haven't heard from Seattle Perkins (I'm not holding my breath). But I do have diversity interviews in Charlotte and Richmond over the next two weeks. Any advice/tips from people who have had interviews for diversity programs already?

Has anyone heard of good things happening in diversity SA positions for LGBT individuals? From what I can tell visible diversity is preferred by law firms, but since they're including LGBT what are the odds comparatively?

Every firm I've had a call-back with has extended their offer. I think this market is done. Looks like my SA journey is over...0/3 in Seattle. Talk about a humbling experience - ready to bring it for 2L OCIs.

For those of you who haven't received an offer from interviews/call backs/diversity positions, where do we go from here? Try to find an unpaid pro-bono job? How can we make the most of our summer if it looks like we're not getting the things we've wanted?

I mean, I get the feeling that it's rough to get those if you're not a UW student. Your flight risk that you go to a different market the next summer and then don't return is pretty damn high. If you truly want Seattle, though, this should really help reaffirm your interest for 2L OCI.

I thought this too, until I asked and discovered that the people who received two of the offers were from Cornell and UVA, respectively. I have significant ties to the area - I think it came down to grades.
As far as I know, UW faired poorly with 1L SAs this year.

Did both have astonishing grades or something? I was above median at YHS and only got a screener/callback from one. Nothing from the rest. I grew up in the area.
