Same. Nothing. This whole rejection thing is getting old and it's still early in the process.Anonymous User wrote:I table talked, haven't heard shit.Anonymous User wrote:Received second round Palm Beach PD interview by email today. I interviewed at EJW.

Re: How to be a Prosecution/PD Gunner?
Interviewed with Brooklyn and Palm Beach at EJW. Table talked with Miami and received a Skype interview.
- Received second round interview with Palm Beach.
- Brooklyn's bail simulation was tough-- still waiting to hear back for second round.
- Miami Skype interview consisted of a hypo and asked me to do cross examination/closing-- said I will receive a letter in a few weeks.
Does anybody know how many rounds Palm Beach is doing?

NJ pre-bar offers are out, according to a friend from an NY/NJ area school.

Is this thread merging with the 3L PD application thread? It looks like the last few posts have been identical on both threads.

Re: How to be a Prosecution/PD Gunner?
I received a second round interview from Miami too and they asked if I wanted to do a Skype or in-person interview in February in Chicago at some career fair they are going to. He said it'd be better to do an in-person interview, but I'm wondering if it means I am screwed because it is a little late in the process?Anonymous User wrote:Interviewed with Brooklyn and Palm Beach at EJW. 1L here, if prosecution (ideally DA or state attorney office) is my goal after graduation, I 100% should be interning at a DA/state attorney/usao office for 1L summer right?

anything PI is good (i.e. civil legal aid), but yeah, ideally get a prosecution internship.Anonymous User wrote:1L here, if prosecution (ideally DA or state attorney office) is my goal after graduation, I 100% should be interning at a DA/state attorney/usao office for 1L summer right?

has it been pretty slow all around or specifically slow on one type of agency (PD or legal aid side)?BlueLotus wrote:still waitin on responses from ejw employers...Anonymous User wrote:2Ls where y'all at?Void wrote:Is this thread merging with the 3L PD application thread? Re: How to be a Prosecution/PD Gunner?
As someone who struck out with DA offices, I would highly recommend trying to intern in an office you really want to work in post-grad. I wouldn't necessarily say don't do USAO, but if you have the choice, I would go the DA route for meeting the right contacts.Anonymous User wrote:1L here, if prosecution (ideally DA or state attorney office) is my goal after graduation, I 100% should be interning at a DA/state attorney/usao office for 1L summer right?
It might be helpful for others to give you more input, but I would try for DA/State Attorney for both summers.

2L summer:
I got a Maryland offer from EJW a while ago, but today I also got offers from Hennepin and Alaska, both out of EJW. I turned both down b/c I'm already set for the summer, but hopefully those spots go to deserving TLSers!
