I’m starting to think Latham is waiting a little bit longer on a lot of people because they have a very fast deadline for the offer acceptance. Would be a waste to interview people now who wouldn’t want to accept immediately

Please don’t worry about people getting offers from the same day you interviewed.

I remember looking at a thread like this 2 years ago when I did a pre-OCI callback. People from the same day heard back with offers within a few days to a week. I thought I wouldn’t get it and then, two weeks later, I got the call. I wasn’t the only one to get an offer like that.

Edit: not sure why previous posts say updating with a secondary journal isn’t useful. It’s a great way to poke them for a response and sometimes that kind of commitment despite not landing LR shows initiative (especially if you’re a borderline admit for lit). I’d update them about literally anything - moot court, getting a CALI in an unimportant class, changing your unofficial transcript because you’re taking an extra course now, a new RA job, membership to a random club.

If they haven’t sent a rejection, you’re still being considered.

I Interviewed at the end of the week on Thursday and got an offer about a week later on Friday.
