At T14, interviewed with Weil this morning, just got the offer. They seem to be moving really fast.

Yup. My interviews finished at around noon, and I got the call at around 6 pm.

Yup. My interviews finished at around noon, and I got the call at around 6 pm.

just another data point, but I interviewed in the morning & got the call the next morning; they told me the turnaround would be ~48 hrs tho

Latham NY and LA appears to be doing some pre-oci based on what I've heard. However, I have not yet heard of any offers being extended

Latham Houston is doing pre-oci. I have heard of callbacks but no offers/dings.

These schools are very different beasts with respect to Weil. Weil, like a lot of NYC-heavy biglaw firms, is generally not a significant hirer from Chicago. I imagine it is a much heavier hirer from CLS.

YP is a thing at OCI, but it doesn't generally operate at the level of school, it operates at the level of GPA. And Weil is probably a strong enough firm that it doesn't YP much if any in any case.

YP means?

Yield protection. That a firm will chose not to interview you because they think they are just your "safety" and you wont really chose them and so they will be wasting an interview. (It doesnt make much sense in a pre-OCI context, where there really isnt a limit on interviews)
