Does it mean anything if the partner offers you firm swag at the end of the interview? Am I reading too much into this? Haha. I just really want to work at this firm. Haven't heard anything yet.

Usually within one week. Although it very much depends on the firm. Some firms are known for giving offers day of, some take at least two weeks.Anonymous User wrote:How long will ny firms normally take to get back to you after going in for a callback?

It may even vary per person. Last year my s/o received an offer day of at three firms that I also interviewed with and I assumed I was getting dinged. I then received offers 1-2 weeks later at each. It's not over until you get the letter or email saying so.conveyerbelt wrote:Usually within one week. Although it very much depends on the firm. Forget same-day offers -- I'm pretty sure Willkie will extend offers before you leave your CB. But like runthetrap noted, just because you don't get an offer on the spot or the same day doesn't mean you're out of the running. I got my Willkie offer either one or two days after my CB and an offer from another firm two weeks after my callback.WeeBey wrote:what firms are known for same day offers?runthetrap1990 wrote:It may even vary per person. I've heard of it happening. Again, until you get an email saying otherwise don't count yourself out. There are some very rare cases where a firm just never gets back to you (I had this happen last year although it was a secondary market that rhymes with Chicago), but that is the exception and not the norm.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Do you guys know if it's still possible to get cbs for the Monday/Tuesday interviews? Boies, Crowell, and Skadden CBs
If I decline a CB/offer, does the firm just give the next person on their list a CB/offer?
Got a Goodwin CB yesterday so I think it's possible. I'm hoping this is universally true as a day 1 interviewer for an NYC firm I want told me I'd be hearing from them but I haven't heard anything. It would suck if he meant a ding.runthetrap1990 wrote:I've heard of it happening. Again, until you get an email saying otherwise don't count yourself out. Firms extend more offers than they have spaces, knowing that not everyone will accept. So, not necessarily.Anonymous User wrote:Boies, Crowell, and Skadden CBs

There's no such thing as a "cold" callback offer. To the extent you're wondering about the cold offers after a 2L summer, that question is hard to answer.Anonymous User wrote:How often do cold offers happen?

Ohh.. i did not know that it referred to post-summering. Ty for clarification. I always assumed it was for the callback offer when ppl referred to it.runinthefront wrote:There's no such thing as a "cold" callback offer.
