OP: offer within 2 business days. But considering the reaction here, I'm guessing that's pretty unusual. They might be waiting to interview a large pool of candidates before making more decisions. I did cancel some other Chi CBs after getting the offer, so I hope that helps NU students somehow.

I have it on good authority that Sidley's hiring committee for NU hasn't met yet this week. The initial query asked whether any offers had been made through the OCI process, and I'm beginning to doubt any have.

Would be happy to be proven wrong. Give us dates, anon!

Interviewing with them soon, but curious: How early did you have your CB? Unless it was early last week or before, seems a bit early to be worrying about this. I could be wrong, but I've heard to expect to wait at least a week to hear back from most Chicago firms. Though I realize Jones Day and Kirkland have apparently moved faster this year (according to previous posters), I for one wouldn't worry until at least a week has passed.
