Other than a few rogue weekend CBs like last year, are NY firms done here? I assume things will be fluid outside of NY either way, depending on market.

Paul Hastings SF came in today. Weekend calls are possible it seems.Anonymous User wrote:viewtopic.php?f=23&t=231027
last year a couple of firms got back on Sat/Sun
Pretty sure Friday NY interviews should come in over the weekend or on Mon, right? Are they that hard working that they crank them all out on a Friday evening?Anonymous User wrote:Other than a few rogue weekend CBs like last year, are NY firms done here? Same, and I had 6 interviews. I'm sure we'll hear from most of them early next week.

Has anyone heard back about CBs from Hughes Hubbard (NY), Baker Botts (NY), Morgan Lewis (NY), Nixon Peabody (NY), Jones Day (NY)?

It could be helpful for posterity when callbacks finish to get a sense of how M did this year. Posts from last year with [GPA/WE/Market/# Screeners/# CBs/ # Offers] provided a great overview going into this OCI season.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Can we get a how many cbs poll goin

Re: Michigan OCI 2015
a cb poll would be absolutely stupid because it would be voted on by a skewed population. people who didnt get any cbs arent going to vote in representative numbers, meanwhile all of the strivers with many cbs will all be sure to click on the poll

I haven't really heard of too many people who stuck out though? I guess they wouldn't be broadcasting it either.

I have good grades (top 1/4 I'd guess) and 0 CBs. Bid almost all NY with 1-2 CA firms.Anonymous User wrote:I haven't really heard of too many people who stuck out though? I guess they wouldn't be broadcasting it either.

Did you feel pretty good coming out of the interviews? Any thoughts on why you may have underperformed?

Assuming you're bidding NYC and are around median or slightly above, does anyone know how many callbacks one should (hope to) get?

On the same note, how many CBs will typically make you safe for at least one offer? Seems like most firms are about 50+% CB:Offer?Anonymous User wrote:8-10 probably, depending on which firmsAnonymous User wrote:Assuming you're bidding NYC and are around median or slightly above, does anyone know how many callbacks one should (hope to) get?

Seemed high to me as well. I was thinking somewhere between 4-6--especially because people seemed to be bidding NYC heavy this year.

Re: Michigan OCI 2015
I hope so, definitely felt better about my Th/F interviews than my earlier ones. I failed to do enough research for some of the M/Tu screeners (for example, one interviewing partner seemed upset that I was unaware about his involvement in a rather prominent case, and I didn't prepare enough questions for some others). I also got fewer interviews than most people in the lottery (15), and more behavioral questions than usual, which I suck at.Anonymous User wrote:This sucks, man.
