Ding by mail from White & Case 2.5 weeks after callback. Surprising since so many people seem to be turning down their offers. Too much to hope they would change their mind I guess, huh?

Damn...I'm waiting to hear from them as well, and my CB was 2 weeks ago. I guess had better be patient.

Got an offer from Latham about a week after cb. I'm not sure what people think about them in general, but the people were incredible outgoing and just really nice folks in my experience. Decided to go elsewhere, so I hope that opens something up for someone.
OP here. What is the general outlook on Latham DC?
General knowledge: They're taking 25-30 SAs total in DC. I know that I and one of my friends at GULC will be going there. A couple more (read: at least 4 but possibly not that many more) at GULC have offers but I'm not sure whether they're leaning Latham or not.

I've worked with Latham a tiny bit in my pre-Law School consulting job (and know a lot of people who have worked with them even more closely). Fantastic people (beyond the smiley face everyone puts on for interviews) - and at the end of the day that's what made the difference for me. Not sure what else OP is asking for?

That's what I was looking for. Accepted there and didn't knowhat it looked like for others cuz I'm not at a DC school. Thanks

Anyone have an offer from Morgan Lewis and/or have any idea about what their general turn around time after a callback is?

searched the entire thread and not a mention of willkie dc - any offers or other info to report? have a cb coming up soon. i know their class is smaller but i feel like this is a bit late in the game, so curious if they are protecting their class size or are generally interested

No offer, but I did just get a ding many weeks after CB. Maybe that means someone is accepting offers?

Thanks. Callback was last week and they said they were still waiting on a few people. My deadline at another firm is tomorrow...

Any word from Sheppard Mullin or Ropes?

Also throwing my hat in the ring for a Wilson Sonsini callback via mass mail.

Still silence from Sheppard Mullin. It's been exactly one month, which I would venture to say is not a good sign.

Sheppard has been known to do that. Doesn't reflect well on the firm.

Massmail ding from Akin Gump, maybe a month and a half after applying.

I assume you mean to imply that Sheppard typically treats silence as rejection?
Seems pretty unprofessional to me.

Yes, I know multiple people that did callbacks with Sheppard and literally never heard back one way or the other.

Going on 5 weeks post-callback. Haven't received anything either way.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
