Yes they're very new super aggressive poached a rainmaker from Simpson Houston. Maybe avoid if you have other options. Don't think I would go there over big tx firms or Latham. Their v10 status doesn't mean as much when you're at the smallest newest office.

Why avoid? What if its gonna be like Latham and make money hand over fist

They're also paying $10k at the end of the summer and $10k upon acceptance of a full time offer. So there's that.

This is what I was thinking. I know BB/V&E would be the safer play, but it's kind of exciting to be part of something new. And K&E could kill it in Houston like Latham.

It's dead up here today. Apparently Jones Day isn't as big of a draw as I thought it'd be.

Just interviewed with Kirkland Houston. Sounds like they're expanding pretty aggressively.

About an hour ago via phone call and email. Non-UT, screener through OCI.

Feel free to PM me

Bracewell and AK don't come to my school, so I massmailed them in July. Radio silence since then. Would it be appropriate to send an email to follow up and let them know I'll be in town?

I'm probs stuck at the bottom of a pile of online apps :(

Radio silence is normal.

Definitely email again and say you'll be in town for an interview and would love to meet with them.

Did an full interview in Dallas this week from mass-mail at a non-TX school. Never did a screener, though.
