Yes, anything from Leg. Counsel? Has anyone been in touch with them recently re: timeline? If we don't hear this week should we assume the worst?

I contacted them two weeks ago, and they seemed to be in the final stages or interviewing/reviewing finalists. They said that we'd hear back by the end of this week, but that's likely not happening now. I don't know if anyone has more recent updates. Anyone else with different info?

We will find out by mail if we did not make it if they are consistent with prior years.

Thanks. I'm going to assume (for my purposes) they made offers this week and letters will arrive next week. That's probably the most likely scenario, unfortunately. Does anyone know someone who got an offer? That might help support my theory...

No letter yet on my end. So there's still some hope! Anyone care to reach out to them again? I have already pestered them twice, so I am a bit wary of going in for number three.

Since it appears that I've struck out on gov't honors programs, I am applying for entry-level attorney jobs on USA Jobs. Does anyone know how attorney hiring works via this route? I'm sure that it varies agency by agency, but in terms of time line, competitiveness, etc.? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Nope. At my OCI, the interviewers told me that they wouldn't select this year's class until early January. I'm not sure if no news is good news or whether I was dinged awhile back. I know they called my references, but I didn't get an email telling me I was still under consideration like an earlier poster did.

I also received the "under active consideration" e-mail from DOL but have not heard back since. The initial message and follow up said they would be in contact after the first of the year.

GC only does one round as far as I know. I asked them what the next step in the process was after an initial interview, and they just said offers would be made in January. I had two rounds with a regional office, but I think that's an anomaly.

It came from the Honors Program email account. The signature block only said "Attorney Honors Program, Federal Communications Commission."

Same question - any confirmation that HUD is, in fact, done? Not really holding my breath for an offer at this point but wouldn't mind some closure.

I still haven't heard anything. I keep expecting to find a rejection letter in my mailbox, but I haven't yet.

Got rejection from NLRB GC in late December. Offers for regional offices have not gone out yet.
