Nassau:I am also wondering about the Nassau Final Rounders as you say; in looking at the forum I see that someone said DA Rice would be making offers starting last week through the first week in May. I also heard that some final rounders received emails indicating that they would not hear anything until after that first week in May and that they are essentially on a waiting list. I can only assume that not receiving that email is either a very good indication, or perhaps very bad in that you may be rejected straight out, although doubt that, for if it was the case, I would think you would have already received a rejection letter.

Queens: While I have heard from Helen that they are (have) made some offers, I do not know one person who has received that offer (for the fall class). I have a gut feeling that offers from Queens may be continued to be made all the way through July.

Anyone have a news regarding either?

Also: Anyone have a 1st round in Westchester; if so what was it like. Hypo's etc?

Latest update on Queens: 10 offers have been made and accepted. Apparently they're moving faster than normal. I think they make something like 13 offers so that doesn't bode well for those of us still waiting. I know there is a wait list for the spring, though. So if you want to wait another couple of months you could still get an offer

That's good to know! I was told they made about 13 last year so I was assuming it would be the same. Let's hope 14-20, though. That still gives us some hope. I have not received any kind of letter or email, I've just been staying in touch with Helene.

I believe Queens will be making offers through the first week in June and that they have more offers to make. I am confident that they are not finished.

Found out that I got an offer from Queens. It seems like the 14-20 spots is correct. Good luck to everyone still waiting! I know it's hard to have patience at this point.

And as to those who have heard from Queens recently, did they mention the total number of offers they plan on making; I had previously heard 14-18 but that was 2 weeks ago & I recently heard directly from the office that it may be less than they thought two weeks prior.

They never told me how many offers they were planning on making. I was basing 14-20 on what has been said on here.

Well, I know it is rare for Rice to give out offers during the interview so what about for the people who didn't receive an offer during the interview? Any idea as to when we will hear?

Don't know. They want an answer by c.o.b. tuesday, which indicates they want to make contingency offers quickly, if necessary. Will anyone else be joining me?
