MM, after seeing your academic pedigree, I don't think you have too much to worry about.

Re: School OCI Data
This can be true, and it can be false. For instance, in my experience, when Jones Day came to campus, they have only X offices represented, and they never overlapped interviewers. There were two people from Chicago in one room, and two people from DC in another room. You could get callbacks from one, both, or neither. They didn't compare notes. But, Jones Day Cleveland was definitely not at our OCI. So sometimes having two offices for one firm is really, really important. And sometimes, as you suggest, it's a complete joke and a lie.romothesavior wrote:4) Firms that have multiple offices often claim to be interviewing for all or most of them, but even if that's not an out and out lie, satellite offices tend to be quite small and have different preferences for students. The Miami office of MLB might be 'interviewing' at 20 schools, but I doubt they hire near 20 associates - and many will be coming from local schools rather tan the T14 circuit. But again, firms have a big incentive to keep their ear on the ground.

Please be careful not to attribute this to me. I'm just posting what was messaged to me, no providing my thoughts on it. I have little knowledge of OCI.Anonymous User wrote:This can be true, and it can be false. Please. Worst case scenario is that they spit on you a little bit. Come back after you join me and romo by picking a school like WUSTTTL over Vandy and we'll talk about the R. Kelly treatment.rad law wrote:In that firms will literally come to campus and urinate on us because we are so worthless.romothesavior wrote: It is the little peons like us who are screwed.
