Anyone here have any experience with Kentucky? I have an EJW interview with them and want to know what to expect. Also have a phone conference with one of their individual offices (I applied independently before EJW, too) in the next couple of weeks.
Not sure how intense/hypo-oriented these interviews will be.
Thanks.

Not the same anon as the one you're responding to, but Alameda did on-campus interviews at my law school about a month ago and just made callback announcements this week. We applied through an on-campus interview program.

When I submitted my application they replied back with that information.

I have an interview coming up with Rory Stein at the Miami PD office for 3L position. Advice? I've heard he likes to use hypotheticals.

The screener I had at EJW was a pretty standard screener, like any other screener, but with some time spent on why I'd move to Colorado, and possibly spend two years in the middle of nowhere. 30 minutes long.
The second round interview was the the Public Defender himself. It was also pretty chill, just talked about commitment to indigent criminal defense and trial lawyering skills. I asked a lot of questions about the office. Interview was around 45 minutes to an hour. He offered a job at the end of the interview.
I dont think there was ever a hypo

What is the best way to inform an office you're interested in that you have passed the bar?
This office only hires post-bar and I've interviewed with them before. My interviewer in particular is kind of old school so I have had success communicating via letter.

Just accepted an offer from a medium sized city DA. The jerb starts in the summer and goes through my 3L year, turning into a job after graduation (as long as I don't screw it up).
Wanted to thank everyone on this board for the advice I've gotten lately; sure do appreciate it. I'll be back and hopefully can help future PD/Prosecutors too!

Have an interview coming up with legal aid, curious as to what their litigation style is like as I have to prepare a closing...

Any idea how to figure out which places will be participating in the table talk sessions and EJW?

I thought "all of them"?
Is there something I don't know?

I talked to my school's career service person about table talks and she was like "well do you know which employers will be attending them?" I just emailed her and she said that it's unfortunately not the easiest thing to figure out but that she'd look for me and email EJW folks. I'll report back with a list if I get one.
